As we get further into quarantine, life at home might be getting more frustrating and lonely for people. Even as things open up, it can be difficult to know where you feel safe and many people remain alone. There is a solution that helps people to feel more of a sense of contact without taking risks.
I personally love getting mail. I imagine others do too! What an amazing surprise for one of your friends or family members to receive a box of treats, small notes, or toys. In the box you could include a chocolate bar, a small stuffed animal, a notebook, some cute trinkets, or even a gift card. You don’t have to make it expensive. In fact it could be very low cost if you send things that you find lying around you house (e.g. a notebook that is unused).
The lowest cost option could be to collect a few things, put them in a bag, and take them to a younger neighbor. You could “wrap” the presents in leftover paper so that they still have the fun of unwrapping items.
