I still remember when we gave my cousin a balloon on his second birthday. We gave him other gifts too, but all he wanted to play with ALL DAY was the balloon!
There is something truly joyful about balloons – they are an easy way to make someone’s day. The fun colors and satisfying bounce make balloons an easy gift. Balloons can be large or small (we gave my dad the one in the picture for his birthday). You can give a single one or a bunch of balloons. If you want, you can also tie a balloon to your neighbor’s front porch to spread the joy.
So, if you know someone who is going to a grocery store maybe they can add a helium-filled balloon to their list. Or, if you have regular balloons at home, you could blow a couple up and put them in a bag for a young neighbor to enjoy (making sure that they stay untouched for a couple of days.
